Unit 10 Carvers Trading Estate Ringwood BH24 1JS

Its been a very exciting 2014 for us at Propex with this being the end of our first full year at our new abode at Carvers in Ringwood,  Hampshire and in the heart of the New Forest.   This year has seen us bring into play a smart new workshop allowing us to fit, service and repair heaters for customers as well as install underslung LPG vapour tanks onto various styles of motorhomes as well as the VW T5’s.

To support this,  way back in April,  ‘Billy’ started with us who is a fully time served munitions engineer but has now turned his talent’s to something slightly less ‘controversial’ but still needing handling with care, your vehicles !!.  Being CITO trained he can also carry out servicing and repairs to all types of touring caravans. He is now a valuable member of the team.

The start of the year saw an agreement between Propex and Whale for the distribution of their excellent range of pumps, taps and water fittings.  These parts are commonly installed by many caravan and motorhome manufacturers,  such as Bailey, Elddis, Autosleeper etc.. and so we were selected by Whale to help ensure continued smooth supply to the after market both through our existing trade customer base but also using our new online shop at www.propexleisure.co.uk 

The showroom continues to be filled with exciting products that support and compliment our core business. A recent agreement with Kenwood Electronics now allows us to fit for customers the DNX525DAB Multimedia/Navigation System as fitted standard to the VW t5.1 Sportsline and so a demonstration unit has been installed in the showroom to allow customers to play and fully appreciate its amazing functionality.

So……. What does 2015 hold. well quiet a lot hopefully.    We are a firm believer that more can be made of the technology that allows the storage of your camping gas to go outside underneath the vehicle, freeing up space internally and significantly reducing the cost of your gas, plus many other advantages,  so we are looking to bring to market a cost effective solution that removes the mystery and bunkum that seems to have surrounded this for years.

A nice ICE for old people like me !!!   I like to listen to tunes when out in the T5.  Having good sound is very important but with clarity and balance, not how many Watts it can bang out or how many neighbours we can fail to impress.  Therefore we are looking at providing an installation for the T5’s that fully compliments the Kenwood head unit,  that is discrete and takes minimum space but still provides the fully ‘immersive’ sound we all deserve.
